i thought you got PT to run in Windows 7 32 bit. I am having no trouble with Windows 7.

Digi cant say any more than "they are working on it" they cant get into release dates or how close they are. I will predict a 64 bit compatible Windows 7 approved release with in 3 months.

I hope we won't have to wait for the first service pack.
It won't be released until summer of 2010.

Yes i think am okay whith WIN7 and PT i am doing some recording test
in only one HD the same as system HDi know is not recommended but is working for me at the moment, first had problem because not enough free space, so as sunburst said i change for other HD, bigger 250 gb x 7200 rpm and now it goes very well recording 16 tracks for more than one hour. I tryng make the HD full so see how much it works in relation to free space. I do much recording out of studio mainly pianist, or live chamber music, stereo recordings. Don't want carry Extra HD only Mic and interfase, at the moment the system is working.
About Digi they take too much time, it's a pitty. so HOPING AND WAITING

For me Win7 and protools 8.01 with my 003 rack is a mess right now.
It works 1 out of 2 times. It just freezes while loading. Im on legacy driver and onboard firewire device.

I just bought the SIIG NN-E20012-S2 firewire pci-express card, as recommended on digidesign.com

im still waiting for it, do you think it will make a difference for me?

For you guys that 003 rack and win7 is working great, what are your firewire device, onboard, pci-card?
