Send Pro Tools First session

I want to send my file session off to be mixed from someone that has Pro Tools. I have Pro Tools First. How do I send my session file?

Hi Welcome to DUC

Pro Tools First does not use *session* files, it uses *project* files, just to be clear when you are communicating with others. Other versions of Pro Tools use session files, and they can read/use project files.

The person you are sending stuff to presumably has Pro Tools standard or ultimate and can open projects, maybe by just sharing as a cloud collaboration. How they want to get them... you should ask them. There are a pile of different packaging/optimization stuff they might want you to do. Stuff that nobody here can guess.

Make sure you retain separate copies/backups of your original work.
