Default C24 loose fader cap fix?

Hello All,
any tried and true trick to secure loose fader caps from flying off?

Im assuming you need metal to metal contact for the conductivity, so silicone is out.

any help would be greatly appreciaited.

best,
Sean

I would take some small pliers and try to put a slight bend on the metal "ears" You are correct that you need to keep contact. Another possible solution might be conductive foil like the stuff used for shielding electric guitar control cavities

Keep in mind that if its sticky foil, the sticky stuff is not likely to conduct well at all(so fold it over on itself, sticky to sticky)
