Avid Acquiring Euphonix

I'm surprised there's not more chatter on here about the news that Avid will acquire Euphonix.

I'm not sure what I think yet; this could be cool or it could be a disaster. I've seen too many companies swallowed up and digested by bigger ones and coming out (if they come out at all) as a big piece of s**t!

I guess time will tell...

That's odd, I did do a search before I posted but nothing came up... I must have seriously misspelled something.
