Default Relinking files with foreign language character

Hi there,

Anyone here know a quick way to relink files that have gone missing upon transferring the session from one workstation to another. PT was able to locate them all except for those files that contain letters such as "ü" etc. For some reason Pro Tools changes the letter before the offending character to a square root sign and therefore cannot find the files on my drive..
Going manual would literally take hours and there's no budget for it..

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Joel

Craig's suggestion is an excellent solution.

Here's the app:

Project browser, select your session, from the drop down menu select "relink Offline" then highlight the offline files, choose candidates and when the dialog box opens select file id only.
