Core Audio (Limiting which Apps can use it.)
Has any one figured out how to keep apps from using core audio? iChat always takes over core audio on me and I have to shut it down to use anything else.
I do have my 001 selected for sound output in System Pref because without it selected pro tools was the only app that could use it.

If you select your 001 as the default output in AMS, then every application you launch will use that driver for output, you cannot tell certain apps not to use it.
