Panning Issue
new pro tools user here:
when i try to pan a track left or right it only seems to effect the volume and won't pan. any ideas? thanks! |

if i were to guess, you are somehow monitoring only one channel in mono and as you pan, the audio moves to the other channel which you are not hearing, and thus the volume goes down. Check your routing on your speakers, and/or mixer. If thats not it then i dunno!

thanks for the quick response! i am listening back through headphones which have a mono/stereo switch, but i've tried it in stereo and mono and the problem is still there. it's odd because this wasn't happening a few days ago....
