Keyboard Shortcuts
I have recently bought a new mac and decided to get the smaller keyboard without the extended keypad; I thought I could have used the function key and been able to access all the shortcuts, however this does not seem to be working? Has anybody else ran into this issue and what can I do about it?

The F key via FN key or as F keys in your system prefs>keyboard. But you may wish to get a math keypad or the extended keyboard for all shortcuts. you can also create custom shortcut via the OS system prefs>keyboard>shortcuts.
