Reason and Protools
Hi All,
I do most of my arrangements in reason. So far I route reason in protools via rewire and dub the vocals in protools. I was told that I should convert each reason track into audio. Import those files in protools and then dub and mix in protools..any suggestions about what will be the best approach to save time and still get a good quality sound? |

Re: Reason and Protools
Reason is certainly a powerful synth environment, but the reason to bounce the files to individual audio tracks is two-fold.... you cut down on the DSP needed for softsynth processing although to be fair, Reason is pretty dang efficient! BUT the other is from an audio engineer point of view: If you have your entire tracks in front of you, track by track, you're free to do what is needed to make the mix sound right.
