Re: Dock not remembering an assignment
OAD,
I'm not sure I'm following you. I figured out how to save layouts and now my Dock fader stays properly assigned to a Master Bus Fader I have selected. However, in the lower-left corner off the dock it still lists whatever track is attentioned - which I suppose makes sense if you want to use the Channel functionality. Is this what you are asking? If not, can you give me more details and I'll try and recreate your issue? |

Yes, what you're describing is as I've found it. No need to do anything else. We are agreed that the Dock fader can be tied to a specific channel per layout. Which is good. And that the display for the fader continues to reflect the current attentioned channel (not the channel set in the layout). Which is wrong (IMHO) and, I think, is what Eddie has suggested is a bug. |

Re: Dock not remembering an assignment
Ah, I understand now.
I agree that the label should show what the fader is controlling, but in order to do that we need to see the name of the attentioned track elsewhere on the Channel page so we easily know what channel we are effecting. If we could get both of these changes, it would be an improvement. PS: I'm loving my S1s and my Dock - totally changing the mixing experience and improving my results. :) |
