Default New Session From Template in PT 8.0.4cs2

I am new to PT 8 and have been reading about creating new sessions from templates. I know you can specify sample rate, bit depth and file type in the open from template dialog.

Can you also specify (within the template itself) sync source, session start time and frame rate?
I bounce between sync source internal at 30fpsndf and sync source Sync I/O referenced to Black Burst (video ref) at 29.97ndf or 23.976. Also, the session start times change from 00:00:00:00 and 00:59:00:00 respectively.

Alternatively, is there a way to achieve this from the Open Session from Template dialog that I'm missing?

Hi,

This is really easy to test! load a session and set it up as you want it. now save it from the file menu as a template. now close PT completely to be safe it works, now re boot PT and open the newly saved template and see if all your settings have stuck.

whilst opening the template it will ask you to save the session with a new name of course as this is a template its expecting you to be saving a new session!!!
