Default Backwards Compatibility

I have to create a radio spot for my class and since I have an Mbox 2, I decided to piece some things together at home and bring my session up to school to finish it. I have LE 7.1 and my school uses 6.9 and I was wondering if there is any way that I can take my 7.1 session and save it as a version 6 session. My instructor showed us how to do this at school, but after I created a half decent radio spot at home, it appears that I don't have the ability to save the file as a previous version. Is it possible to downgrade my software to 6.9? Also, in the save session copy window, the "enforce Mac/PC compatibility" check box was grayed out. My school uses Macs and I need to have this done by Monday. Help please!!

You absolutely can save a copy of a 7.1 session as a 6.9 session.

File menu>Save Copy In

You can then choose to save the session as a 5.0 session, a 5.1-6.9 session, or a 7.x session.

When you choose 5.1-6.9, the enforce Mac/PC compatibility box will be accessable.

You can choose to have the audio saved as AIFF files as opposed to WAV files too.

I just did this very thing with 14 LE 7.1/PC sessions I needed to take to a 6.x/Mac TDM studio.

I went to "Save copy in" but I see no option to save as a 6.9 file. The dialog box looks different than the one at school so Im not sure what to do.

When you select "Save Copy In" there is a drop-down selector next to "Save As Type". In that Drop-down are the selections that you are looking for.
