Autosave Crash Bug?

I noticed that ProTools has a tendency to crash when autosaves happens. It happens randomly...that's what makes it tricky. Anybody else notice this problem? Maybe it's just me?

All the usual suspects apply. You need to troubleshoot. As always suspect plugins but start by just trashing prefs and seeing if this only happens in session or a set of related sessions.

If you want more help here after troubleshooting stuff: full systems specs. List what troubleshooting you have done. What *exactly* happens? Any crash message? Look at the Pro Tools log after a crash happens (~/Library/Logs/Avid/Pro_Tools*.txt) anything showing up there?

Your signature is pretty confusing, what are you actually running? "iMac 3.5 i7" tells us nothing about what actual model iMac that is.

Plugins are very much a suspect on any crash on saving in Pro Tools since they get called as a part of saving the session. And maybe it crashes a small percentage of the time on any saves, but you don't notice those but you notice the autosave crashes because there are many more autosave attempts. If autosave crashes where a big issue you would hear people screaming about them on DUC.
