Are MBox 2 outputs DC-coupled?

Can't seem to find an answer to this online or in instruction manuals. Specifically would i be able to send CV signals out of the outputs?

Most probably not. I don't have specific knowledge of it, but I would not look upon the Mbox2 with the expectation of it being DC coupled.

I assume you're looking on the Expert Sleepers site. If so, you'd need the AC encoder. It's listed as working with an 002 which is as close as anybody got to an Mbox2.
