Default Slow pro tools launch

Why after upgrading to 10.3.6 takes about 15 minutes to launch it goes through each plug-in very slowly. It looks like PT is hanging but it does launch after about 15 minutes.
OS 10.7.5
PT 10.3.6
MAc Pro 2010 12 core 2.66 HDX 2

repaired permissions
clean un-install and reinstall

removed all third party ilok plug-ins
launches are must faster with all ilok plug-ins removed - Waves/VSL/Plug-in alliance don;t hang PT launch only ilok'd plug-ins

Every time, or just the first time you ran 10.3.6? If you don't have PT11, then there's really mo reason to go past 10.3.5

I to installed 10.3.6 - I tired going back to 10.3.5 exact same issue.
When I load back all my ilok plugins (316) it takes about 2 hours launch Pro Tools. It seems to be related to ilok plug-ins only.
I have PT 11/10.3.6 on my 10.8.4 boot drive it does not happen - however I have about 35 plug-ins that don't in 11 yet and I don;t want to take the time to do the drive authorizations when I am getting a new Mac Pro in the fall - some plug-in companies don't like handing out authorizations every few months - and I feel that is something I should not have todo anyway. I was hoping someone would have answer before my tech wastes an hour on hold with Avid tomorrow.

I suggest doing a "Clean Install", restart, install the 10.3.3. drivers for your interface (don't use the version 11.0), and then reinstall PT 10.3.5. So far this is working for me. Give it a try.
