Hello everyone,
I just installed PT 12.6 HD and am playing with the new clip effects. The problem is that I cannot adjust anything. Well, to be specific, I can enable / disable the EQ, Filters and Dynamics session, and I can adjust the HP and LP filters and the LF node in the EQ. I cannot grab and/or adjust ANYTHING ELSE. Am I missing something? Chris Conlee |

Update: I just restarted Pro Tools and I'm now able to edit clip effect parameters. Maybe just a glitch in the Matrix?

Update 2: After about a half hour, the clip effect editor has become "stuck" again, with only one or two parameters being selectable. Everything else cannot be manipulated. Anybody else seeing this?

This has been an issue with me. I hope now that a few have reported this that Avid will take note.
It can happen if the clips are grouped but mine are not. Are you using HDx or Native? C

I'm a CPTK refugee, running HD software only. 12.6 has actually been running very well for me today, outside of this annoying bug. Particularly since I can make great use of the clip effects on the current project I'm working in. Sucks to have to restart every time I want to tweak a clip...

This same thing is happening to me. Clip Effects are pretty much useless right now.

Call me Captain Obvious if you must but....
Making sure everyone knows that Clip FX are only editable when the clip is fully selected. *ducking* |

Is there a way to "partially" select a clip? Not being a wise guy, just not sure I understand. I'm pretty sure I've got the clip selected when I'm unable to modify clip effect parameters.

Well I'm a picture guy, who's doing audio on a labor of love project. I will be the first to admit I'm no expert at Pro Tools. Media Composer yes, PT no. Here's what I'm doing. I use the "arrow" thingy to select the clip I want to apply a clip effect to. Then I click on the clip effect editor button. If I've recently restarted Pro Tools, this results in me being able to adjust parameters as I would expect. But if Pro Tools has been running for a while, then this very same sequence of events will result in me not being able to adjust most of the parametes in the clip effect editor. Feels very much like a bug to me.
