ProTools 12 keeps crashing
I am trying to do my first major project after moving from ProTools 9 to ProTools 12.2.1. I am using only ProTools plugins and AIR synths, but I use a lot of these virtual synths along with audio recording and track bouncing.
The CPU use stays low. Note: This same crash has actually occurred with only a few tracks and one AIR synth. When it crashes it will stop playing. It goes into pause when you hit play. The session will save, but then trying to close the session crashes the whole computer and I will have to do a hardware reboot. Sometime I will get an hour before the crash, but sometimes it crashes after 3 minutes of the reboot. With a deadline to meet this is an impossible way to work.
