Default How to connect the Eleven Rack and a Pod HD together

After seeing this video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4AQvDOGuqI I may add a pod HD Bean to my arsenal and use it at home with my eleven rack.

What would be the best way to connect the pod to my eleven rack?
Do i use the Pod HD Unbalanced 1/4" Main Outs (L+R) or the Digital S/PDIF to my eleven rack?
I'm using my eleven rack as my audio interface.

Absolutely the spidf. Otherwise you will be adding 2 more steps of unneeded analog/digital conversion, which will definitely not sound as good.

Keep in mind that not all the POD's have digital outs. Out of the new ones, only the "bean" one, the floor model 500, and the rackmount Pro.

The Pro also has spidf in, which adds more versatility. It has more effects than the 11R, so you could use the POD Pro as your interface and have the 11R going into IT digitally (assuming you have Protools 9 or 10).

Yeah nice for the spdif in but the Pod HD pro cost 300$ more than the pod hd bean

I saw that video too and I was rather surprised at how good the POD sounded compared to the Axe FX

And Ola have been an axe fx user for quite a long time!
First the axe fx standard and now the axe fx 2.
But if you take a look at all his videos he seems to make everything sound incredible!!
