Default Hardware drivers causing computer crash

I recently took my digi 001 card out of my G4(mac) and put it in my PC but every time I try to install protools when it gets to the hardware installation my computer freezes. The card is plugged in right and My computer is definitely compatible with 7.0 but Im not sure about 6.4(which I am trying to run), it just wont work. Im runnning an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+, with Windows XP (not media center). Im not sure, but I think it has something to do with "Dalwdm.sys". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You may need to go back to SP1 on this setup. You could try the DEP-fix but I don't remember where you get the info. You will also need to disable half of the x2 as 6.4 will only run on a single processor.

regarding your 001 pt7 is not supported. only 6.4 will work though i personally prefer the 6.1.1 for its stability
