Default Shiny new 11R on the way...

So, where do I start then?!

What are the best sites for resources? I've found elevenrackpresets.com which looks to have some good info. Anywhere else I should be looking? Much action around here?

Been a Cubase and Reaper user for long time, so any tips on making the transition to PT? Likewise, main exposure to modeling units has been with Guitar Rig (multiple versions).

Finally, already have an FCB1010 that I've been using for years - is it worth getting the eurekaPROM, or will I be fine without it if I'm already comfortable with programming the FCB?

Cheers dudes!

It's been slow around here lately. People assume Avid is letting the product die on the vine and therefore there's less posting and less interest here. Don't give up on this site though - if you have a specific question someone will probably eventually answer you. The search function here will reveal a lot of information.

I also recently got an 11R, but don't have time right now to really delve in.

Benoni has a nice site with presets (mainly hard/heavy) and tips here.

Eurekaprom is great if you don't care about programming the FCB. Has 3 different modes: Preset, Stompbox, and Favorite Presets.
But as you've got experience programming the pedal, you should be fine.
I got the UNO eprom which has a few smaller advantages over the original firmware, but has to be programmed as well.

Don't have tips on the transition from another DAW, as I started with PT(5)...

Axis75,

Congrats on the purchase. I'm a big Native Instruments fan but I would rather use Eleven Rack than Guitar Rig.

Tips for transition? If there's one thing I think people should learn when it comes to Pro Tools it's key commands. They will speed up your workflow tremendously!

Good luck.

For what it's worth, I don't think Avid are ready to let Eleven Rack die just yet.

New 11R for me also in the next few days. What a bargain, for the price of PT10 alone I get a free 11R!!!

Thumbs up Re: Shiny new 11R on the way...

Eleven Rack is awesome.

Eleven Rack has a beautiful tone for guitar.

Rock on with your 11R bro!
