No Sound?
I finally got my Oxygen 25 to work, but I ran into yet another problem, and I believe this is the last one until I get this whole ProTools thing to work.
I think its a big probem, though. Nothing makes sound. I know you may be thinking Ur muted, or your speakrs dont work... i just watched a youtube video and the sound was fine. its just protools. help?

At this point I would suggest that you try creating an instrument track, pick a plugin, and arm the track. Sound should play.

well, not even the plugins make sounds.
I tried Boom, which if I'm correct, you can use with your mouse to make beats, right? Well that doesn't make sound. Nothing in ProTools makes sound...

Do you need headphones or speakers that plug into the M-Box?

Yes. All audio from Pro Tools will only output through the Avid interface that you are using. (in your case, apparently the MBox)
You could update to Pro Tools 9 to eliminate that requirement.

Hmmm...Well, looks like I'll have to run and get some speakers or headphones to fit the mbox.
Thanks and that helps a whole lot.  Silly, silly me. EDIT::::: Wait, do headphones work? Because on the Mbox I see 2 mon out slots... do headphones get plugged into both?
