Yamaha W7 for midi control
I am having a problem getting a Yamaha keyboard communicating correctly with the instruments in M powered PT8. I have found my keyboard in the midi studio and have activated it but the alignment of the keys is wrong allowing only mid to lower notes to be played and there is no velocity control at all. This is true with both the DB33 and the mini grand instruments as well as other keyboard instruments.
The Yamaha W7 is connected via a pair of midi cables to my M-Audio Ultra interface on to a PC running windows XP. I am a newbe to this so I hope I've asked in the right forum and my problem is clear. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ray Last edited by ccuwan; 04-08-2010 at 05:44 PM. Reason: typo |
