DADman/Avid Control app issues

Hey all- I've got a MTRX Studio and am running DADman software. What I'm trying to do is have my Avid Control app allow "the best of both worlds." That is- it seems that if I use the Avid Control app when it's NOT connected/mapped to DADman, I can't use any of the Monitor section functions (cut, dim, talkback, source select, etc.). But if I use the Avid Control app when it is connected to DADman, and thus can use the Monitor section, alas- the transport controls at the bottom of the app don't work.


So- does anybody know how I can have the monitor section benefits of mapping Avid Control app to DADman, but maintain the ability to use the transport controls?

In EuControl you can lock various parts of your Eucon surfaces including the control app to different eucon controllable applications. From memory, it is at the bottom of the second to last tab on the right in EuControl.

You need to have the appropriate app in focus in your operating system/Avid control app to lock them to EuControl. Lock the monitor section to DADman, and the Transport to your DAW.

Thanks guys- worked like a charm! Next question: is there any way to get the talkback button any bigger? I’m currently using the app on my iPhone and it’s teeny tiny.

Use a iOS bigger device.
Use the Soft Keys page and map multiple squares (to TB) - simply mash and go.

You can also buy a physical hardware controller such as the MOM from NTP (DAD).
