Default VIRTUAL SAMPLER???
HI FRIENDS,
I Need to get a virtual sampler for my digi 001 runing in Win XP. How is the best??

Check out Kontakt at www.nativeinstruments.com its RTAS and considered one of the best. It imports most file types.

The Mach5 is supposed to be good but isn't totally Windows compatible yet.

Sampletank2 for playback is good and comes with lots of sounds. You cant use it as a sample creator - it really works as a sample playback.

Gigastudio running on a separate computer is excellent but it needs a special GSIF soundcard to run.

Of course, I won't forget Reason's NNXT ( for fear of being banished from this forum ) - its a PT users all time favorite although not as flexible as Kontakt

get the RTAS/VST wrap[per from www.fxpansion.com and use VSTi's from within protools.
