MBOX Control Presets Don’t Stick on MBOX

So, I created 4 “custom” Presets in my Avid MBOX Control Software. Then I selected them for the 4 physical colored buttons as custom actions. The 4 Presets save just fine in the software, but when my Presets are assigned to the buttons, they show up as selected on the menu, however when I press any of the colored button on the physical MBOX the Preset will change as expected, but then all of the button assignments go back to default assignments in MBOX Control software. Not sure why this is happening. Any guesses?

I'll have to try this, but how are you assigning a specific preset to one of the buttons? I thought the Presets function just displayed the Presets dialog.

So you appear to know how to create custom presets. Well I found that if you go to program the colored buttons from the top menu in MBOX Control it gives you a list of options to select for Press or Press and Hold. Well I found that after creating Presets it adds them to the bottom of the button lists as User Defined, thus my goal was to be able to easily switch Presets by just pressing the colored button on the MBOX.

Like mentioned creating Presets works great and when you assign them to a button they show up in the top menu, but once you use one by pressing a button it will take you to that Preset, but resets all the buttons back to factory default.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. My MBox / MBox Control acts the same way, which I would think is a bug.

The assignable buttons are different for each preset, so if you want them to always be the same even if you change presets, you have to configure the same macro in your 4 custom settings, that way you will always have the same function on the buttons.

That’s not what I’m saying. I’ve 4 custom different presets and saved them as favorites. I the assigned each one to the 4 physical buttons on the MBOX as actions, thus when I press each button my preset would change in MBOX Control. I was able to set all of them up and could see them assigned in the top menu, but when I pressed any of the buttons the settings reverted back to default. Not sure why?
