virtual sampler MIDI notes \'sticking\'
We are having issues with 'sticking' notes with one of our virtual sampler players, Philharmonik (IK Multimedia), i.e., when an instrument is in midi and I start/stop the track, random notes will stick and continue looping indefintely.
No other virtual samplers or plug-in players (e.g. Kontakt, Indigo) behave this way. Is there a ProTools MIDI preference or something else that should be changed? Actions required to reproduce the problem: Start/Stop any midi track that is running an instrument in Philharmonik. Troubleshooting already attempted: I have selected the ProTools midi clock and checked all boxes that apply. I have tried increasing the playback engine buffer, but the problem still exists. I have contacted IK Multimedia numerous times but to no avail. Thanks for any help offered! Our System: ProTools TDM 6.9.1 192 i/o - HD2 cards PowerMac G4 dual 1.25 gig mirror door 2gig ram OS 10.3.8 Emagic Unitor8 midi interface |
