Ableton Style Audio Effects Rack in Pro Tools?
One of the many things that I really like about Abelton is the Audio Effect Rack.
So inspiring to be able to set up proprietary and third-party plugins within a rack and setup them up as serial or parallel effects - and on top of that very easily control multiple parameters with macros! For example, I have a low pass filter rack setup, using one macro control to control the filter frequency, which also controls the distortion mix at higher frequencies so it is distorted with the filter is open, but cleaner when lower and deeper. I also have reverb and delay added when the filter closes. So you get a distorted dirty sound when the filter is open, and a cleaner more spacey sound when closed. Uber cool. Love to be able to do this in Pro Tools
