MTRX Studio Front panel lights gone out

So my front panel lights / buttons / meters have all gone dark except the power button. The unit functions correctly but sans said lighting. You think this is hardware or software fix? I have reset the unit holding the Botton via the small hole on the back near the power inlet. Nothing changed. I put a call into AVID support who said they would create a case and email me - but I have heard nothing. Will call again. But curious if anyone else has experienced this. And does anyone know if AVID offer advance replacement (unit is only 6 months old).

There may just be a loose cable internally. Let me take a look to see if this is something that a user can access and reseat.

Did you have a fix for this? The same thing has happened to me and the MTRX Studio is completely dead!

Not yet - I need a work window that will allow me to lose it for a week or so to return for repair. Theres a firmware reload you could try (see firmware download in your avid account). And the reset button on the rear. Actually this did return my unit to working order briefly. But it went out again.

Is your unit working and passing audio just the front panel lights out (DadMan sees it?) If so - when you select your unit in the DADMan device list, does it show the front panel status as 'error'?

DADman saw it briefly and not any more. Doesn't pass audio but Dante "sees" it on the network. Strange also the unit changed IP addresses in the space of an hour with out any instructions to do so!!

What’s your serial number out of interest?

I’ve just RMA’d mine due to a dead channel on the DB25 outs. Wondering if it’s a batch of bad boards? Mine was 101206.
