Hard Drive Dock with iMac
Hi
Just bought an iMac (created a dual boot with Lion for 'normal' stuff and Snow Leopard for PT9). If I bought one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freecom-3529...077691&sr=8-29 is it likely to work for the 'record to' drive (via FW800) as long as the HD I put in it is a 7200rpm etc? Thanks in advance! Paul

Depends on the FireWire chipset it has...The Oxford 911, 912 and 924 chipsets are qualified for ProTools.

OWC has docks with the Oxford chip.

The problem is, OWC is in the US and there are no resellers in the UK.
