waves automation unreliable
I try to keep up with all the issues at hand, but am I going to have to assume it's not safe to trust waves for plugin automation parameters?
I'm into the 4th reel on a premix with heavy automation and the feedback parameter on a supertap plugin is very random in deciding if it's going to work or not on playback. In addition disengaging one of the delays (on/off) is not trustworthy. I've recently starting using waves again to have some session compatibility between two stages on a project.....one is on pt8 and another is 7.2. i'm frustrated and nervous. in addition, on another project, the L3 plugin reports delay improperly by 2085 samples(EARLY). any insight into this would be helpful. in the room i'm in now: hd3 accel 8 core mac (last gen) 6gb ram 10.5.7 pt8cs2 (or whatever the newest cs) confirmed all plugs are current have not downloaded the newest waves update (released last week) thanks doug |
