Default Displaying Pan Value on Stereo tracks?

Is there a way to do so? It only shows whether things are panned left or right, or centered. I'm also using narrow mix view; if it displays values otherwise, i'd like it to display in the narrow view because that's pretty important. Thanks for any help!
