Major Windows 8 Cubase 7 Problems

This is day 5 of trying to figure this out. Clean install of Windows 8, all programs are happy except Cubase 7 64x.
Running a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and have Euphonix Mix, Wheel and Control.
Now I don't know if the Artist series is the problem, could be anything. But wanted to see if other users have a similar set up and are having problems or not. Thanks
