No Artist Mix on EuControl Surfaces Tab

dns-sd -B _euconproxy._tcp

What do you see?

I typed the command on powershell
It is Browsing for _euconproxy._tcp since 5 minutes

OK, so thats the issue. Bonjour doesn't even see it. See attached for what it looks like for my Avid Control. You should see the same but your Mix.

Do this. Uninstal EUCON using the installer and check remove all apps and remove all prefs. Then go to windows Apps and uninstal Bonjour. Reboot and run the EUCON installer. You can use the latest 24.10 if you like it works with PT 23.
That will ensure the correct Bonjour is installed. Report back.....

FYI, if Bonjour still doesn't see it then you need to concentrate on the network first, not EUCON.

Indeed Bonjour still not seeing artist mix.
I don't really know what more to try concerning network. So any recommendations are more than welcome.

Instead of a direct cable, try putting a switch or router inbetween

Great there is progress! Indeed I tried a router in between and now I can see artist mix in the eucon software 'all surfaces'' tab. BUT I can not add it to 'My surfaces' tab.

By the way I've installed the 2024.10 eucon as you proposed.
The dns command now shows as yours but its written "MC mix" under the instance name.

Ok, so I tried with the avid artist mix connected to the router's ethernet port 1 and the geekom mini pc connected to the routers ethernet port 2.
Now everything is working as it should.
What a strange thing all this. Anyway I really appreciate your help Eddie Jones.
Just wondering, is there any way to make it work without router or this will be the only way?
