I'll have to do a drive by to confirm this, but I'm pretty sure this is the back part of a Digidesign dealer (West LA Music) store. I know I've seen this building, and I know it's right near W LA Music on Cahuenga Blvd (good dealer, by the way...). They periodically have Digidesign seminars, and this banner is probably letting the world know where it is. so, there is no digital skullduggery going on here, and this is much hullaballoo about nothing...

Yup.. across the way from Carl's Jr at the corner near Lankershim.. I thought that was North Hollywood myself.

"much hullaballoo about nothing..."

That can be said of 99% of Fletcher's postings on the DUC.

The Audio One offices in Nashville and in North Miami Beach have the Digidesign logo and "Pro Tools Center" on the front of them. That does not mean the store is owned by Digidesign. That means the store is an authorized dealer. If Digidesign were going to open a store themselves, you can bet they would do a little better than a bleach bottle holding down a nylon banner.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Hello trakbytes:

That is not the back part of the West LA Music building.

West LA Music is about a half mile further East on Cahuenga West Blvd. on the other side of The Centrum Building (the building that looks like it is topped with a glass prism).

I know this because I used to mix audio in what is now the West LA Music building when it was Astin-Zappia, which became Alta Video, which became Grace & Wild, which became Anderson Video, which moved onto the Universal Pictures lot, leaving the building vacant to ultimately become West LA Music.

Actually, that area is referred to as Universal City (Universal City Nissan is directly across the Cahuenga West from The Centrum) but the mailing address is Los Angeles.

Best Regards

Trollin' again, huh Fletcher.

Things sure get slow at your romper room site now that Beavisman isn't droning on about sparkin' doobs at his "pro" sessions.

So you and the dork with the Micro$oft pocket protector have to post some Eddie Haskell stunt so you can come to the DUC to drag some eyeballs over to your dyin' site.

What a lame. You must get paid by the hit....

ROTFLMAO!!!!! Both the jpgs AND DigiCS's response!!!!!

BTW, W. LA Music has a parking lot on the one side and the entrance is on the corner (and the big keyboard mural), so, as others have said, this isn't them...
