Groove Templates NOT WORKING..?!- Where can you get the grove templates from ?
hello
I have just installed Pro Tools 11 and having difficulty trying to find where I can find the groove templates from Logic Pro, MPC and other programs.... Can anyone pleaes help ?

I'm not in front of my computer but I believe if you go to "Event Settings" you will find them in a drop down menu under Quantize.

Thanks for taking time out to get back to me about this.
It appears that I have no groove templates installed ? or can locate the folder ? I have just installed ProTools 11 so im not sure why the templates are missing ? Everything has installed and works perfectly. Can you please advise ..

My Grooves folder is in the Pro Tools folder, which is in the Digidesign folder. (I'm sure now it's called the Avid folder... )
Applications > Avid/Digidesign > Pro Tools > Grooves Do you have a folder there?

I appreciate you taking time out to help me with this problem.
I have installed Pro Tools 11.1.3 today and it appears we are still having an issue finding these groove templates. I have followed your advise and i only have a pro Tool item in my app folder app - ProTools there is no avid or digidesign...? Have supplied screen shoots.

If you Right Click on Pro Tools and select "Show Package Contents" there should be a folder in there for Grooves.
But it appears that you don't have any of the .grv files anyway. Strange. I did a quick Google but can't find them for download anywhere. Perhaps a quick email to Avid might help. They can email you the .grv files. Put them in a folder called "Grooves" inside the Pro Tools package. I see lots of posts about people creating custom Grooves and saving them for later use. So all you need are those missing .grv files. Why they're missing? I have no idea. But they must be downloadable from somewhere! Sorry I can't be more help. Good luck!

I just saw in another thread that the Grooves for PT 11 have moved! They are now in:
User > Documents > Pro Tools > Grooves Apparently.
