Default BFD Lite: doesnt sound

Hello again.
Frustration again.

Now I cant get BFD to sound.
System:
Mbox 2, PT 7.3.1 cs6, running on windows XP SP2.

Setup:

Instrument track with BDF lite plugin. MIDI notes on such track. Playback, nothing sounds. I can hear drum sounds when clicking on the notes, but during playback nothing sounds.

I tried on another session and it does work. But tried on another and it doesnt. So I dont know what can the difference be from one session to another causing BFD not to sound on the ones I need to work with.

Tried 2 unsucessful solutions:

I though it might be that the sessions have too much active tracks, so I tried making some (almost all) tracks inactive on those sessions but that didnt work.

Then, I deleted all tracks (including the instrument track with BFD), and cleared the region list. From scratch, created one instrument track. Set BFD on it, and the same kept happening. Nothing sounded except when clicking on the notes.

Whats really strange is that I can see the MIDI meter (on the "instrument" column of the edit window) on the instrument track move. It does vary its levels, which means that the MIDI notes are being played, but the actual track's level meter does not move at all. Its numb. It only moves when I click on the notes. T_T

Im stuck without a clue.
Heelpp!

Make sure you assign an input to the track with BFD on it.

I did that, it didnt work.

I really dont understand why BFD doesnt sound. It was working fine and then it didnt anyomore. Whats strange though, is that if I run the mouse over the midi track IT DOES SOUND. I can see the midi meter on the Instrument column moving along with the notes. But when I hit play, the notes dont sound at all.

Im contemplating suicide here

Frustratioooonnnnnn!!!!!
