I know I'm late here, but today I tried installing Waves 14 on Mojave and Waves Central gives me a warning that version 14 is not compatible with my system (10.14.6). It gives me no other option. How did you install it? Is there a workaround? a trick? ThankQ

Well it's been over a year since I did it, but IIRC I just dismissed the warning and it installed.

https://www.waves.com/support/tech-s...ins|version-13 While you might be able to do a workaround to get V14 installed its not officially supported. So there's a very good chance that you may not get much in the way of help from Waves should something go wrong. Of course there's also the risk of running into instability issues as well, or just overall buggy behaviour. Just something to be aware of. |

I wouldn't do it. Install V13. Your V14 license will work. If there's a new plugin you want, like BB Tubes or something, just install the V14 for ones you need.

Or you consider upgrading to a bigger bundle that has all your older plugins plus extra. I’d recommend holding off for sale pricing if you were going to consider that though.

You can still install v14 on Mojave if you use the offline installer and the Waves Central that comes with it. But be sure to disconnect from the internet when opening Waves Central or it will update itself to a later version and prevent installing instead of just giving you a warning.
I'm not sure about the versions though, you might need the Waves Central from the v13 offline installer and manually install selecting the v14 offline package. It's a hassle, but it works. Last edited by Farhoof; 09-04-2023 at 05:48 AM. |

Since it's not designed to run on the system you could experience anything from buggy behaviour to complete system crashes and loss of work. It may not happen but it is a definite risk. Because it isn't officially supported the only help you are most likely to get from Waves is to either upgrade the OS or uninstall it and put V13 on your system. Which is pretty much what everyone is telling you to do here. |

I'm trying to install Waves version 14 on macOS Mojave but I get an error message saying that version 14 is not compatible with 10.14.6. How can I work around this?
