Default How to solo the MIDI part of an Instrument track?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here?
On normal MIDI tracks this is easy to do with the Solo button.
But I only see a Mute button for the MIDI channel part on the Instrument track?

Humm ??

OK first I suggest (For more accurate and efficient and targeted replies ) you list your system in your signature line (like mine below)
That way people will not have to guess or ask what system is,,, which can make a lot of difference on what is actually going on

Second so are you referring to the Midi Controls section and the mute button at the top of the Instrument track ? (light blue arrow)

So it's not clear as to why you would want to solo just that midi input ? As opposed to just using the main solo button (red arrow) ?

Hi,
Can you send a screenshot/screen recording of what you're referring to?

That's exactly what I was referring to, indeed!
And good point of including a picture from the get go:
I will try to follow your example from now.

This issue came up while troubleshooting a template session that was using (multiple) Instrument tracks to send to external hardware instruments (which is probably a bad idea anyway).
I could not pinpoint where the multiple MIDI streams arriving at the external instrument were coming from in Pro Tools.
In this case it's so useful to be able to just solo one single MIDI output.

With 'normal' MIDI tracks this is super easy to do, but with Instrument tracks there seems no way?
