Default Activation + registration?

Hey All.

I just got an Mbox2 including Pro Tools LE 8. Since there's been some problems with the installation (which turns out to be the install disc), I just have a few questions...

First of all, I registered my product - where can I see the product now? I thought I would be able to see my products under My Digi, but somehow there's nothing...

Secondly - where am I to find my activation code? The one in the sleeve of the setup guide doesn't work (and I have tried switching '0's with 'O's etc) so I guess that isn't it?

It's case-sensitive, and the spaces have to be there too.
There is ZERO margin for error!!
And yes, those are all zeroes, not oh's.
Probably starts something like:
DIGI0800 etc etc?

OK thanks for quick reply.
Now I have tried the activation code again (and again and again) and it still doesn't work. What could be the problem here?

Spaces and everything? Okay, next thing to do is call Digi CSA and let them know, you should be on file if you registered and they can probably give you a backup code.

OK thats what i figured - I live in Denmark however where for some reason no one answers the phone when I try to call support. This is really poor customer service by Digidesign... I guess I just have to keep trying. Thanks for the help.

They always answer for me but I do have to admit I spend what seems like an ETERNITY on hold......extremely helpful once I get through, though.
I'd suggest e-mailing them, but last time I tried it that way it took over a MONTH to get a reply, by which point, of course, I had already resolved the problem. AND got smarter in the process!!!!

Yeah I dont even get on hold - it just keeps on ringing

And I would really like to get smarter during this proces but I can't shake of the feeling of being the main character of a Kafka novel using the support site, trying to call support etc. - NO DOORS JUST WALLS EVERYWHERE

In the end I guess I just have to call the american support as it seems the danish support line isn't working.

Anyway I really appreciate the help

OK in opposition to the danish phone support this place is GREAT support

The replacement code I got by email doesn't work though - Im looking for the activation code and not the authorization code (whats the difference?).
