Default IO Settings order in Dashboard Dialog

In the Dashboard Dialog, when you click on the IO Settings Selector a popup menu opens that shows the content of the IO Settings Folder in the Pro Tools Root Directory folder. However, the IO Settings seem to be listed in random order.

Does anybody know what that order is and how to force it to display the files in alphabetical order as it should be? This is really annoying.

Thanks

There's no option in PT to do an alphabetical list like you want. It's been like this for ages.

That is too bad.
I'm not a coder but I'm sure it is just a line they forgot to put in and never bothered to fix it. I understand that there are other high priority fixes and improvements, but they should have an intern or a 'code clean up crew" for these annoying oversights.

Like you said there are other more important things in PT that need fixing. This is minor and you seem to be the only one bothered by it. I've written code before and it ain't easy especially with stuff as complex as PT. Look at the stuff one has to go through to make changes to the dark mode file and figure out what does what.
