Crazy Question
Can you use some kind of time code to jump between sections of a mix? Meaning can you say loop between bars 1 and 9.... then with the touch of a button be looping between 13 and 17.... and etc.

Sure, but you have to set that up in advance. Use markers/memory locations.

explain memory location... i should probably find it in the manual though... From what I understand, once I learn the ability to create these locations... I am able to use the loop function in the transport to loop between locations

On second thought... its not awesome at all... its not exactly exact... don't bother learning it. Anyone got any better ideas? By not exactly exact... I mean you couldn't do some crazy virtual dee jaying with it.
Any way to make this boogie go ooogie oogie oogie? |

You're going to have to be more specific...the marker system IS exact in that it will go exactly where you tell it to, with shortcuts. Define boogie oogie oogie..

I want to be able to jump between sections in musical rythm... theres a few fractions of a second of delay when i use the numeric keypad shuttle codes.
