Default Someone wants to buy my 001, should I upgrade ?

The price he offers is good, will my life be so much happier with a 002Rack ?
I'm on a QuickSilver 933 with Panther

Thank you for your input !

Depends entirely what you are doing with it.

Well, I guess beside the better looks, I'm hoping for improved audio quality.
I have external AD-DA lightpipe converters which I combine with a channelstrip
for the more critical tracks. My effectunits are connected to the 001 in- and outputs.
Will I hear a difference ?

Some time ago I heard of latency with the onscreen metering. Has this been solved in the
latest PT version ?

Thanks !

Short answer: No.
Save the money, get a dual proc G4 and run 001. Buy more harddisk's. Keep your 001 and cross-over to Logic Pro. But don't get into Firewire land. You'll regret it.
