Default Is this a good idea?

With most efx that we put into a sound we are dealing withlots of dithering. For example, I record snare drum, then using Audio Suite plugins, add compression, EQ, maybe a little more compression, etc. every time when doing this using 32 bit processing dithered back down to a 24 bit file. Or how about elec. guit. sent through a delay, then chorus, EQ, distortion, amp modeler, washing machine modeler, whatever. Why don`t they put several of these most common efx together into one plugin, keeping everything at 32 bit until printing to disk, like I think Channel Strip does? Wadaya think?
