Selecting different Midi input sources
Hi, I'd like to know what could be a possible solution for this problem: Given an instrument track, I receive midi from all midi inputs and not just the one I select in "MIDI Input Selector".
In particular I'm trying to replicate this workflow: www.youtube.com/watch?v=57afXavIO7Q The idea is to receive midi from Sibelius through virtual midi cables. For example, Sibelius sends two instruments, respectively on "Internal MIDI 01 - Channel 1" and "Internal Midi 02 - Channel 1". I set midi input in Pro Tools to receive just the sound from "Internal MIDI 01 - Channel 1", however I hear both midi outputs from Sibelius controlling the same instrument. |

Re: Selecting different Midi input sources
Problem solved. I wasn't paying attention to the channels Sibelius assigns automatically to each of the Midi out devices. Once all devices and channels of Sibelius out and Pro Tools in matches, it works as it is supposed to.
