Default Drum Loops in PT10

I haven't used drum loops in a while in PT10 but I notice there is a Drums on Demand YouTube video that shows how. But it starts after the whole folder of loops has been imported into the left window that shows after I go to File and Import Audio.

How do I get the whole drum loop folder open and imported into the left window so I can audition the individual loops before moving them over to the right window to build my drum track?

Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't it be easier to audition these directly from a media player (like VLC, Windows Media Player, iTunes, ect...) or even better for PT, audition them in the Workspace browser then drag in the ones you want to the Clips Bin or right to a track.

It might very well be easier to do it that way. And that might be the way they did it. The video is a little confusing, and the more I look at it I think maybe it's an older version of PT with another window with Drums on Demand overlaid that only appears to be a PT window.

The first times I watched it I thought it was done inside Pro Tools. I'm not so sure of that now. Check it out and see what you think.

That window is the work space browser in PT7? How did they get all the loops in one folder in there?

I got to my Drums on Demand folder, and inside it was all the separate folders for different styles of music. I would dig deeper until I found the specific folder but I could only get it to work if I opened the specific folder and brought one loop at a time over. I couldn't drag the folder in, nor could I open it and find how to do a Select All and drag it all over that way.

When you say catalogs I'm not sure if you are referring to the same thing as I just did, folders, and if not then I'm not sure what a catalog is.

Thanks!

It's like a user-made "favorites" folder in the Workspace. Check the reference guide, it's a useful feature especially if you work with loops.
