Default Canopus outputs 4:3 I want 16:9

I want my canopus 110 to output a 16:9 video instead of the 4:3 image I get. What's the trick? How to export with what settings in quicktime pro?

Video goes through a s-video cable..

Thanks so much!

Check the dip switches on the bottom. Not sure if the canopus 110 can do 16:9.

All DV video is 720x576 or 480 in NTSC land, regardless of aspect ratio. Aspect ratio is set with a flag in the signal when capturing from a camcorder, when it comes to playback, you have to set the aspect on the TV, which then stretches the pixels to give you a 16:9 picture.

+1. stretch the image on your monitor. I have Same issue with Mojo. get Black magic card for native 16:9

I used the option "wide" on my projector, problem solved. Thanks, very happy!
