Default Changing Fader Caps to help Grounding on C|24

I have been at my wits end with the fighting fader problems. I talked to Digi Support a couple times and they seem to think it a grounding issue with my studio. My studio sits on the quite floor system which is rubber and isolates the ground. If i touch anything metal on the board it works fine. so my question is this. If I replace the fader caps with metal ones instead of plastic will the problem go away. Second are the fader caps on the icon metal and will they work on the C|24

Hi there,
Here is an Answerbase article which may help you troubleshoot this problem, in case you have not been referred here already.

The problem here is most likely that your flooring is isolating you (the capacitor) from ground.

Attaching a grounding strap to your wrist or ankle and then to a grounded piece of metal could be a solution. You can pick these up at nearly any electronics retailer.

Simply replacing the fader caps themselves will probably not help.

the fader caps on the ICON are conductive plastic, probably very similar to what is on the C|24
