Artist Mix Knob Set Selectors Changing

I just did a clean install on Sequoia, updated Eucon, using an Artist Mix.
I most always leave the Knob Set Selectors on Mix/Pan, but now when I select an Insert on the Master, it changes to Group/Aux. I don't remember this happening in the past (doesn't mean it didn't).
Is there a way to keep it locked (or not move away from) Mix/Pan when I am clicking around?

Unchecking Plug-Ins in the "Attention most recently clicked DAW area" did what I was looking for.
