Default How many inputs simultaneously?

Hi everyone!

I´m planning to buy a HD2 Accel system with 192 I/O and a Apogee Rosetta 800(192k) but I´m a litlle confused, how many inputs (simultaneously) will I have?
What do you think about the Rosetta 800? Does it sound like de AD-8000? Exactly, how do you connect the X-HD card (for direct connection of the Rosetta and 192)?
Thank you.

You will get 8 analog ins on the Rosetta 800 and 8 analog ins on the 192 I/O for a total of 16 analog inputs. You will also have 8 digital inputs on the 192. The X-HD card goes inside the Rosetta 800 and connects directly to the 192 I/O expansion slot or the HD Core or Accel card.

HD1 Accel = 32
HD2 Accel = 64
HD3 Accel = 96

The X-HD card is placed inside the Rosetta and connected like any other interface via the DigiLink cable, it's straight forward and simple, you literally CAN'T mistake it.

Thanks, but this is also why I get confused, someone says 8 analog via the 192 + 8 analog via the Rosetta + 8 digitals= 24 inputs simultaneously, and others say 64 inputs, so I´m confused jejeje, which is it?

Your HD2 Accel system is capable of having up to 64 inputs assuming you have enough audio interfaces. You can connect up to 32 channels of I/O per HD card. So, with a 192 and Rosetta 800, you have 16 analog and 8 digital ins and you can add more interfaces if you need more inputs.

OK... I understand your question and will answer it.

With the gear that you are purchasing or have purchased, you can PHYSICALLY input 16 Analog and 8 digital simultaniously.

Remember that you can also add a 192AD expansion card to your 192 I/O for an additional 8 analog inputs.

For a total of 16 inputs...

Thanks everyone! I think a finally got it jejeje. I think I was confused with the digital connection between the 192 I/O and the Rosetta (for example via AES/EBU), I think that way it would take 8 of the 16 available inputs in the 192 but with the X-HD is like having another digidesign interface, you got the 16 channels of the 192 (16 analog with the 192AD expansion card or 8 analog and 8 digital) and another 8 analog inputs with the Rosetta for a total of 24 inputs simultaneously. Right?

So let´s say that I buy the 192AD expansion card and Rosetta, would I be able to connect a TC Electronic 3000 and a Lexicon PCM 91 via the digital inputs(AES/EBU)? I mean in a recording session would I be able to connect 24 analog inputs and send reverb to the headphone mix?

Sorry for all the trouble! jejeje.
