Suddenly, PT won't import any video. I get the message, "Could not complete your request because Unable to read metadata from Quicktime video file because of an AVE or Quicktime error.."

This happens with H.264 and Apple ProRes. .mp4 and .mov

Using 2021.6.0 Ultimate running on a Late 2013 Trashcan, Catalina 10.15.7. I know of nothing that has changed in my system since I last worked successfully with video. Even the videos that did fine last time won't import into a new session. I tried reinstalling the PE codecs.

Never mind. Suddenly, it's working again. All I did was close the session and open the one where video worked last time. Then went back to the other session and all was well. Is there a way to delete your own threads?
